The Maltese cross did not begin with the Knights Templar. It predates them by centuries, moving through Byzantine Christianity and the crusading orders of the Holy Land before becoming the symbol most closely associated with the Knights of Malta and the wider military religious tradition of medieval Europe. The design
The face of the ring is structured as a raised circular platform, the Maltese cross polished to a high silver finish and set flush against a recessed black epoxy resin background. The contrast is sharp enough to read from across a table. The band itself is smooth and polished, which keeps the visual weight where it belongs.
