Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU Customers)
- You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.
- To exercise this right, please email us at hello@historiesandcastles.com with your order details.
- Once notified, you must return the goods within 14 days.
International Customers (Canada & US)
- As a gesture of goodwill, customers in Canada and the United States may return items within 30 days of delivery.
- This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights where applicable.
Refunds
- Refunds include the full price of goods and the basic delivery cost (the least expensive option offered).
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return or proof of posting.
- We aim to process refunds within 7 working days.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Returning Goods
- Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with original packaging where possible.
- You are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Please obtain and keep proof of postage. Goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
- Please contact us immediately if your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.
- We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund, and cover reasonable return postage costs.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:
- Personalised or custom-made items
- Perishable goods (where applicable)
- Gift cards
- Digital downloads or other digital products (once download/streaming has begun)
Exchanges
- We do not offer direct exchanges.
- If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.
How to Return an Item

- We will provide full return instructions.
- Pack items securely and keep your proof of postage.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
